An Eye for an Eye (NI4NI)

This was my solo-dev Time to Make a Game project for year 2 at AIE.

We were split into teams and were told to create an IP to which all of our projects will belong to and my team came up with a cyclops society.

When I think cyclops, I think of throwing boulders so my mind raced to find game ideas that could incorporate that.

I landed up on a brawler that has a focus on picking up and tossing items.

Due to my love for roguelikes, I really wanted to succeed in incorporating roguelike elements to the project.

My proudest achievement in this game was managing to make an upgrade system that supports skill trees and is easy to add new branches to.

I decided to not put any focus on art, so everything just uses Unity primitives, but I did put focus on feedback.

After the project was finished I decided to keep working on it and added couch co-op mode. P1 uses the normal controls while P2 uses the controller.

If you try the game out in single player mode I really recommend using a controller!
