This was my second year in the Global Game Jam (2015), during which I was already working in the industry as QA so I took on that role for the project.

The premise this time was trying to escape hell. The obstacles in the way are procedurally generated but are pretty simple and will never block your way. The catch here is that there are 666 level and you can never take the exact same path twice.

When testing this game after initial programming, we noticed that it wasn't fun at all due to not knowing when you are close to dying.

We added visual feedback and sound effects to let the player know how close he is to doing the exact path again and that made the game flow much better.

I am pretty proud of how this game ended up for a Game Jam.
